*November Reverie Sunrise Hike*

Embrace the Calm Beauty of Late Autumn at Evergreen Brickworks

 

Join us for a revitalizing sunrise hike in the heart of fall. As the brisk November air envelops Evergreen Brickworks, we'll navigate a captivating 8-kilometer trail, weaving through the rich tapestry of autumn foliage.

*Meeting Point:*

Gather in front of Evergreen Garden Market at 6:30 am. The hike departs promptly at 6:40 am. Please arrive punctually, allowing time for an $8 parking fee payable at the parking lot.

 

*Hike Highlights:*

Our journey unfolds with a moderate pace, beginning with some morning stretches to prepare our body for the hike. We will start with a gentle ascent for the first 10 minutes, leading to a breathtaking hilltop panorama. We will hike along a scenic train railroad followed by a narrow and winding path. Depending on the pace of our hike, we might hike a little further and loop back or head back from the same trail. Before heading back, we pause in a serene spot ideal for stretching and breathwork. 

 

*What to Bring:*

Come prepared with headlamps, comfortable hiking footwear (it might be muddy and slippery), a hiking pack, weather-appropriate clothing, water, and snacks. Note that there are no washrooms along the trail.

 

*Preparation:*

Mind the potentially wet, slippery, and steep terrain. Ensure you get ample rest the night before to stay alert during our early start.

 

*Guidelines:*

Theme: Embrace a journey of disconnection from city life and immersion in nature.

Photography: To maintain pace and focus, refrain from taking pictures or videos during the hike. If needed, capture moments before or after the event.

Group Etiquette: Stay close to the group, follow the leader at the front, and the sweeper at the back. Please note that our responsibility is keeping the group together, please cooperate with us. 

Restrictions: Pets and children are not permitted.

 

*Post-Hike Exploration:*

After our adventure, feel free to explore Toronto's largest farmers' market, taking place every Saturday at Evergreen Brickworks from 8 am - 1 pm. We'll conclude our journey around 10 am, with a possibility of a slightly later finish.
